Parkinson's Education & Research Fellowship Fund

Our Mission

The Parkinson's Education & Research Fellowship Fund’s mission is to bring hope, promise and a curable future for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease.

Our Vision

MedAlliesWorld® LifeLine Foundation envisions a world where increased funding in education, research and clinical care for Parkinson’s Disease, greatly impacts those who are affected by it. Through our financial support for fellowships and training programs, we strive to contribute in providing Parkinson’s patients with high quality care from dedicated specialists.

The Challenge

We are failing our Parkinson’s patients with an insufficient number of residency and fellowship programs, specialty clinics, and even fewer Specialists. The demand far outweighs the supply.

After years of progress, a disease that was once considered untreatable has shown promising advancements when placed in the right hands of Movement Disorder specialists. Equipped with the right tools and an increased understanding, specialists now have the power to vastly improve the quality of life for the patients affected. Yet, in the U.S., many states lack these specialists. However, because this disease is so unique to each person, a specialist is vital to the proper care of each patient.

Our challenge is to increase the education, research and clinical care around Parkinson’s Disease through fellowships and training to provide a curable future for those affected.

Our Objectives

The Parkinson's Education & Research Fellowship Fund proposes three, primary objectives that will empower us to achieve our mission. These objectives are:

  1. To partake in implementation and promotion of an all-time reliable Healthcare & Business Directory for the overall health industry beginning with the U.S., North America, and continental Africa (G.H.M. Media & Expo). This directory is a prime platform for brand promotion and networking covering all sectors of the healthcare practice, dental practice, health/wellness, and the supply chain operations and management.
  2. To leverage the new Health Industry & Business Directory to establish strategic and collaborative partnership with medical research and fellowship programs at participating Universities and Medical Schools across the U.S. and worldwide.
  3. To generate funds for Parkinson’s Research & Fellowship programs in collaboration with community growth members, community lifeline partners, community markets sponsors and corporate sponsors.
  4. To sponsor doctors / residents interested in post-doctoral Parkinson’s / movement disorder Research Fellowship programs.

Our Strategic Partners

Parkinson's Education & Research Fellowship Fund campaigns are supported in part by the financial contributions of MedAlliesWorld®’s Global Healthcare Market (G.H.M.) strategic partners:
